Although the reasons for back pain can range from a sports injury to a slipped disc, there is one factor that people don&#8217;t usually consider- their eating habits.</p>
<p>The truth is that unhealthy eating habits can actually contribute to your back pain. There are usually two reasons for this:</p>
<p><strong>1. Additional Weight:</strong></p>
<p>If you have unhealthy eating habits and are overweight, your bodies frame has to support a heavier mass. The average human frame can only support so much weight- additional weight puts a huge strain on bones and muscles. It&#8217;s this strain that could be causing back pain, along with many other aches and pains. </p>
<p><strong>2. A Lack of Proper Nutrients:</strong></p>
<p>In order for your body’s  systems to function properly, you need lots of different nutrients and minerals. The primary source of these nutrients and minerals is the food that we eat. This means that having unhealthy eating habits, such as eating junk food, not eating, or eating too much fatty food, can lead to a lack of the vital nutrients our bodies need.</p>
